Peter Qvist LORENTSEN (b. 1976) - Lot 218
Peter Qvist LORENTSEN (b. 1976) Peak, High-backed chair in white-lacquered laminated birch, screw-mounted 116 x 65 x 101cm Note: The "Peak" chair is the fruit of architect and furniture maker Peter Qvist Lorentsen's taste for dynamic forms. The shape of the chair is first realized in 3D, then divided into 26 sub-elements which are refined in 2D. The individual laminated birch veneer elements are then milled on a CNC machine, then individually oiled and stained. Finally, the elements are screwed together to form the chair.
