This Lenci sailor dog is quite unusual , because the plush toys did not represent the most significant part of the Lenci production. The plush toys joined the production of dolls but the animals normally were made out of felt too . So the plush ones are very few and only in recent times (the 70ies/ 80ies ) they became numerically more significant.
